For nearly a year, my clients and I searched for the perfect home that mirrored their style, one they could spend the next 15-20 years raising their children in. Having navigated some ups and downs in the market, they took a chance on a 1970s ranch home that was dated and tired but had enough character and bones to turn it into a home that reflected their love for midcentury design. Through a collaboration of ideas and materials, we meticulously worked through kitchen and bathroom layouts, updating this diamond in the rough. As I rendered and brought their ideas to life, injecting my own design expertise when needed, they were able to visualize a custom kitchen, a feature slat wall, and narrow down tile and wallpaper choices. Working through these details digitally helped them communicate effectively with their contractors and ultimately achieve a beautiful home.
